Farmakologik xususiyatlari
Sefoperazon — uchinchi avlod sefalosporin bo'lib, sezgir mikroorganizmlarga ularning faol ko'payishi davrida hujayra devorining mukopeptid biosintezini bostirish yo'li bilan ta'sir qiladi. Sulbaktam klinik ahamiyatli antibakterial faollikka ega emas (istisno Neisseriaceae va Acinetobacter), u ko'pgina asosiy beta-laktamazalarning qaytmas ingibitori bo'lib, ular beta-laktam antibiotiklarga chidamli mikroorganizmlar tomonidan ishlab chiqariladi. Sulbaktam, shuningdek, ba'zi penitsillin bilan bog'lovchi oqsillar bilan bog'lanadi, shuning uchun sefoperazon va sulbaktam kombinatsiyasi ko'pincha faqat sefoperazonga nisbatan sezgir shtammlarga nisbatan yanada kuchliroq ta'sir ko'rsatadi.

Gram-musbat mikroorganizmlar: Staphylococcus aureus (penitsillinaza ishlab chiqaruvchi va ishlab chiqarmaydigan), Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes (A guruhi beta-gemolitik streptokokk), Streptococcus agalactiae (B guruhi beta-gemolitik streptokokk), boshqa ko'plab beta-gemolitik streptokokk shtammlari, Streptococcus faecalis.
Gram-manfiy mikroorganizmlar: Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Citrobacter spp., Proteus vulgaris, Providencia rettgeri, Providencia spp., Serratia spp. (shu jumladan S. marcescens), Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis; Bordetella pertussis, Yersinia enterocolitica.
Anaerob mikroorganizmlar: Bacteroides fragilis, Fusobacterium spp., Peptococcus spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Veillonella spp., Clostridium spp., Eubacterium spp., Lactobacillus spp.
